Rescue Diver
Have you ever wanted to assist another diver but were hesitant to provide help? Were you not quite sure how to help? In the Rescue Diver course you will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively rescue another diver. By the end of your rescue training, you will be a better diver and a better buddy. You will increase your awareness of your surroundings and fellow divers, and you will learn to anticipate and prevent problems. In the event that a problem does occur, you will know what to do to execute an effective rescue. You will learn how to manage complex dive emergencies and to apply direct intervention techniques to assist others in an emergency.

The Rescue program at Professional Scuba Instruction incorporates CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider training into a single program. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the following certifications:
- Rescue Diver (PADI or SDI/TDI)
- Emergency First Response CPR and First Aid (or SDI/TDI equivalent)
- Oxygen Provider (or SDI/TDI equivalent)
Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver
Minimum age: 12
Class Size: Private and Semi-Private
What you need to provide:
- All scuba equipment (rentals available)
- Personal gear – mask, open-heel fins with boots, snorkel, and appropriate wetsuit
- Entrance fees to the quarry
Course Fees Include:
- Educational materials
- certification dives
- certification fee.
Course Fee: $600 ($400 if you have current CPR/First Aid/Oxygen Provider certifications) |
