Learn how to be a better buddy by taking the Rescue Diver Course
 
This course focuses on all aspects of diver safety. The Rescue Diver course is a pivotal step in expanding a diver’s knowledge and experience by giving real world experience. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers. This is why the PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all PADI leadership-level training. Rescue Diver training expands the basic problem prevention and accident management skills student divers learned during their Open Water Diver course. At the Rescue Diver level, students are ready to learn to manage more complex dive emergencies and to apply direct intervention techniques to assist others in an emergency. By its nature, the course is demanding and realistic in its conduct, content and approach.

The Rescue Diver Course consists of academic training sessions, confined water training sessions, and multiple open water exercises conducted over two days.

After successful completion of the Rescue Diver Course students will be certified in the following areas each yielding a separate certification all for one set price. The certification areas are:
Rescue Diver (PADI or SDI/TDI)
EFR or SDI/TDI equivalent
Oxygen Provider or SDI/TDI equivalent
 
Prerequisites: Advanced Diver
 
Requirements: 12 years old or older
 
Class Size: Private and Semi-Private
 
Required Gear For Student to Purchase: Personal snorkeling gear (mask, fins, snorkel, boots, gloves if needed)
 
Course Fees Include: Educational materials, certification fees, open water certification dives, and the use of a regulator, buoyancy control device, SCUBA cylinders, and weight belt with weight, for all pool sessions. DOESN'T include entrance fees to the quarry.
 
Course Fee: $600 w/ Certification Dives, $400 if you have a current CPR/1st Aid/Oxygen Provider certification.
