Technical Diving Courses
Intro to Tech:
This course is designed to introduce recreational divers to the world of technical diving. It will cover gear configurations and practices commonly used by technical divers. The maximum depth for this course is 130 fsw.
Advanced Nitrox:
This course is designed for the diver to develop the knowledge necessary to use Nitrox mixes of 21% to 100% oxygen for optimal mixes to a maximum depth of 130 fsw. This course will train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using Nitrox mixes of 21% to 100% oxygen for dives not requiring decompression.
Decompression Procedures:
This course examines the theory, methods, and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a staged decompression dive to a maximum depth of 150 fsw. The course covers the most common equipment, gear setup, and decompression techniques.
This course examines the theory, methods, and procedures of diving air to 180 fsw using planned stage decompression techniques. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct staged decompression dives to a maximum depth of 180 fsw. The course covers the most common equipment, gear setup, and decompression theory for deep air dives.
This course examines the theory, methods, and procedures for executing planned stage decompression dives to a maximum depth of 200 fsw. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct staged decompression dives using multiple stage bottles and gases in order to safely complete a dive to a maximum depth of 200 fsw. The minimum oxygen content for any mix during this course is 18%. The course covers the techniques for using custom mixes, common equipment, gear setup, and decompression techniques.
This course teaches students how to safely blend Nitrox mixes for the recreational diving community. The course examines the proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards involved in Nitrox systems and Nitrox gas blending.
Learn the proper techniques for preparing custom mixes for the technical diving community. The course utilizes oxygen and helium blending techniques in order to obtain precise mixes for the technical diver.
