PSI recognizes that diving that diving emergencies exist and that the best way to facilitate the best possible out come for the injured diver is to have exceptional field care. This training consists of three focus areas, that when combined give an injured diver or individual the best chance for recovery. These courses not only apply to diving but also to everyday life which is why we offer these to anyone interested in field medical training.
The three major areas of study are CPR, first aid training, and oxygen therapy. All of these courses have multiple options and can be taught through a variety of training agencies. The American Red Cross, Divers Alter Network, and Emergency First Response agencies are the primary agencies that we use. These three agencies allow us to offer the highest level of training possible and in some courses we even have classes that medical professional (EMT’s, nurses, and doctors) seek out.
