Open Water Diver
The Open Water Diver certification course is where your underwater adventure begins! This course consists of knowledge development to learn basic diving concepts, confined water sessions where you will learn and practice fundamental scuba skills, and finally your open water check-out dives.
At Professional Scuba Instruction, we want our students to become comfortable, confident, and safe divers. When you have mastered the skills necessary to dive safely and comfortably, you will have fun diving, and that is our goal. We will make sure you have the knowledge you need, but we know that the only way you can learn how to dive is by diving! Therefore, you will spend most of your course time in the pool mastering these skills and getting comfortable on scuba, not in a classroom listening to lectures. To finish up your certification with Professional Scuba Instruction, your check-out dives are conducted locally or on one of our sponsored trips. You also have the option of a referral, allowing you to complete your certification anywhere in the world.
