This course examines the theory, methods, and procedures for executing planned stage decompression dives to a maximum depth of 180 fsw. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct staged decompression dives using air as a bottom gas with multiple stage gases in order to safely complete a dive to a maximum depth of 180 fsw. TDI Extended Range Diver is a great option for divers who frequently dive in remote locations where helium is unavailable. The course covers the techniques for using air and EANx mixes, common equipment, gear setup, and decompression techniques for nitrogen based mixes.
